Providing women with self-examination skills that are crucial to detect tumours, Make a Bun, Save a Breast is an innovative new collaboration between the Pink Wellness Foundation and celebrity chefs to battle breast cancer.

Online cooking videos are the weapon of this campaign, which promises practical training for breast self-examinations through recipe tutorials that feature popular chefs.

Each recipe shows how cooking helps to train your fingers to perform a self-check. The campaign’s website includes tutorials for multiple dishes that include chapati, salmon, and, of course, buns.

Each recipe contains step-by-step cooking instructions, accompanied by breast cancer facts and examination techniques.

Remember, these techniques are only for early detection. If you suspect you have breast cancer, consult a doctor immediately.

For further information, please visit the campaign’s website. If you find it useful, share it with others.

If you're a chef, or you have an online cooking show, you can help the campaign create more instructional videos. Reach out to them here.

Make a Bun, Save a Breast is brought to you by the Pink Ribbon Wellness (L) Foundation. The foundation hopes to fight breast cancer by empowering all women with sufficient knowledge and education on breast health care, advocating preventive measures, encouraging regular screening for early  detection, and providing treatment options and supportive care for survivors.
